There was a kingdom once, and it was whole. For a while, it held. Then the king rode out alone, of his own will, and did not come back.

Welcome to the after. The roads are half-lost, the holds are guttering, and what's left of the realm runs on vigor—whatever strength you can carry, husband, and spend before the dark roads take you. Accept the contract. Keep riding. Stand still, and the fallow land takes you back.

Fallow Crown is a dark-fantasy roguelike blending four distinct modes of play, all tied together by a single, unforgiving survival economy. You have one reserve of vigor to power your mount, your blade, and your lantern. Burn it all in the wrong place, and you're just another body the crows find come morning.

The Core Loop

• The Hold: Between rides, bank your nobles, earn standing with rival factions, and pull your next contract from the board.
• The Stable & Quartermaster: Customize your build. Trade in your starter mule for a Courser, a War Mammoth, or even a Winged Unicorn. Equip salvaged gear to boost your vitality and vigor reserves.
• The Ride: Cross the wilds between holds in a fast-paced, pseudo-3D travel sequence. Steer around debris, outrun what hunts you, and slow down to make camp when your vigor runs low.
• The Battle: When something bars the highway, engage in 360-degree turret-style combat. Strike with steel, magic, and energy, or burn your vigor to flee.
• The Delve: Step into the dark places afoot. Navigate first-person grid dungeons, put down what moves, find the hoard, and get out alive.

The World

The realm is divided. You will ride for the Royal Guard who keep the old law, the Guild who owe nothing to any crown, the Order who read the stars, and the neutral Green Company who only read the ledger. Earn their trust to unlock faction-specific gear, exclusive mounts, and deeper lore from the tavern's Mysterious Stranger.
